Tea for the Fae
Some invitations arrive on paper. Others drift through the garden on the scent of tea.
Tea for the Fae imagines the enchanted teapot where the hidden folk gather when twilight settles over the Realm. Wrapped in blooming peonies and climbing vines, it is more than a vessel. It is a place where stories are steeped, dreams are shared, and quiet magic is poured one cup at a time.
Created with ink and watercolor, this piece was inspired by overgrown cottage gardens, antique teapots, and the old folklore that the fae can sometimes be found wherever beauty is lovingly tended. Flowers and porcelain become inseparable, as though nature itself has claimed the teapot and transformed it into something alive.
Each blossom feels like a whispered conversation. Every curling vine suggests that the gathering has only just ended, or perhaps has not yet begun. The viewer is left wondering whether the tea was meant for the fae... or for anyone willing to believe they might still exist.
For lovers of botanical art, folklore, tea rituals, and enchanted gardens, Tea for the Fae brings a little everyday magic into the home and serves as a gentle invitation to slow down, make a cup of tea, and linger a while.
In the Realm, it is said that the fae brew their tea from moonwater gathered in unopened flowers before dawn. Those fortunate enough to share a cup never remember the conversation, only that the world feels a little more enchanted afterward.
