Hi, I’m Eva Luna.
I’m an artist, naturalist, and creatrix with a lifelong fascination for the worlds hidden within worlds.
Long before I began painting, I was searching for wonder in other ways. One of my first great loves was ethnobotany. I spent years working in gardens and greenhouses, studying plants, herbal traditions, and the intricate relationships between people and the natural world. The deeper I looked, the more I realized that every living thing contains entire universes waiting to be discovered.
Nature has always been my greatest teacher. Tides, wildflowers, stones, forests, shells, and seasons taught me to pay attention. They revealed that the closer we look, the more extraordinary the world becomes. Beneath every surface lies another story. A flower is never just a flower. A shell is never just a shell. A stone carries millions of years of memory.
That sense of wonder continues to shape everything I create.
Before founding Mythos & Alchemi, I spent more than a decade building Mandala Gems, a wholesale crystal company. My love of minerals, natural history, collecting, and storytelling still finds its way into my artwork, where crystals, oceans, plants, and imagined realms intertwine.
Mythos & Alchemi grew from a simple belief: that art can be more than something we hang on a wall. It can be a doorway. A keepsake. A field note from an undiscovered place. An invitation to pause, look closer, and remember that mystery still exists.
Many of my pieces begin as hand-drawn illustrations and watercolor paintings before finding new life as prints, coloring collections, bookmarks, and artifacts from the Realm Archive. Together, they form fragments of an interconnected world where dreamers sleep within crystal cocoons, ancient seas conceal forgotten relics, and wonder waits patiently for those willing to notice it.
When I’m not painting, you’ll usually find me beachcombing for treasures, wandering through galleries, building one of my two small businesses, or chasing adventures with my children. Some of my favorite ideas begin with a shell washed ashore, an unusual stone, a curious plant, or a question that refuses to leave me alone.
You’ll also find me spending time with my fiancé, whose encouragement, belief, and steady support helped inspire much of what eventually became Mythos & Alchemi. He has been one of the greatest catalysts in my creative journey, reminding me to dream bigger, trust my instincts, and keep creating even when the path ahead feels uncertain. Falling in love with him has been one of the greatest adventures of all, and many of the worlds found within these pages might never have existed without his belief in them, and me.
Thank you for being here.
I hope these pieces inspire you to look a little closer, wander a little farther, and discover a few hidden worlds of your own.
